This week I've added the song Hot Rod Gang by the Stray Cats. During my research for this site I've kept on seeing the name of the band the Stray Cats, so I thought I'd check them out and I can't believe how many of their songs I actually recognized, but never knew that they were by them.
The Stray Cats are a Rockabilly band that formed in 1979. Originally from New York, the band moved to the UK to join the Rockabilly revival of the 1980's.
With music heavily based upon sounds from the 1950's, the group had several hit singles in both the UK and the US.
